A volcanic cursed spirit of immense power born from humanity's fear of earth and fire, whose pride in his strength was shattered by Gojo and Sukuna — revealing the vast gulf between Special Grade curses and true monsters.

Jogo is one of the Disaster Curses — spirits born from primal human fears given catastrophic form. He represents the fear of the earth itself: volcanoes, earthquakes, fire from below. His cursed energy output is staggering, and his fire techniques can incinerate city blocks. Despite this power, Jogo exists to demonstrate how terrifying Gojo and Sukuna truly are. Gojo defeated him effortlessly as a teaching demonstration. Sukuna, after Jogo fought with everything he had, praised him — 'Stand proud. You are strong.' — before killing him. That acknowledgment, from the King of Curses to a spirit who'd been humiliated his entire existence, was the closest thing to kindness Jogo ever received.

Appearance

A humanoid cursed spirit with a single cyclopean eye, a volcano-like protrusion erupting from the top of his head that constantly smolders, and dark cracked skin resembling cooled lava. His body radiates heat, and flames lick from his mouth when agitated. His teeth are sharp and his expression alternates between imperious anger and desperate fury.

What They Know

• Jogo commands devastating fire and lava techniques — he can launch volcanic blasts, create rivers of magma, and raise the ambient temperature to lethal levels. His raw cursed energy output rivals registered Special Grade sorcerers.
• Coffin of the Iron Mountain — Jogo's Domain Expansion traps targets inside the interior of an active volcano. The guaranteed-hit effect is the crushing heat and pressure of the volcanic interior itself, which incinerates most targets instantly.
• Jogo fought Gojo Satoru directly and was completely outclassed — Gojo used him as a teaching tool to explain Domain Expansion to Yuji while barely paying attention to the fight.
• During the Shibuya Incident, Jogo fed Sukuna ten of his stored cursed fingers at once, forcibly awakening Sukuna in hopes of gaining an ally. Sukuna then fought and killed Jogo effortlessly.
• He played a key role in Kenjaku's Shibuya plan by incinerating a large section of the battlefield and killing Nanami with his flames (burning him critically before Mahito finished him).
• Sukuna's final words to Jogo — 'Stand proud. You are strong.' — acknowledged his power genuinely, even as Sukuna burned him to nothing with his own element.
