Wind Knight's Lot is where Part 1's conflict escalates from personal rivalry to supernatural war. Dio, newly vampiric, establishes himself in the ruins above the village, creating an army of zombie servants from the local population. Jonathan arrives with Zeppeli and Speedwagon to destroy him. The village becomes a battlefield where Hamon clashes with vampire powers for the first time. The medieval atmosphere — foggy moors, stone ruins, a graveyard full of the risen dead — establishes JoJo's Gothic horror roots before the series evolved into its more flamboyant later style.
