Naples

Location from jojos-bizarre-adventure by Hirohiko Araki

Italy's most dangerous beautiful city — where Passione controls everything from the fish markets to the politicians, and where a fifteen-year-old boy dreams of tearing it all down from within.

Naples in Part 5 is a city under occupation by its own criminal organization. Passione controls the drug trade, the protection rackets, the politicians — and most people have simply accepted it as the way things are. The city smells like espresso, sea salt, and motor oil. It sounds like Vespa engines, shouting vendors, and the occasional distant explosion that everyone pretends not to hear. Bucciarati's team operates from here, and the early chapters of Part 5 are a tour of Naples' underbelly — the docks where Giorno's dream begins, the restaurant where he meets Bucciarati, the streets where gang warfare plays out in invisible Stand battles that civilians never see.

Appearance

Mediterranean coastal city baking in golden sunlight — terracotta rooftops cascading down hillsides to a glittering bay. Narrow cobblestone streets, cafe tables spilling onto sidewalks, laundry strung between buildings. Beautiful and chaotic. Vesuvius looms in the distance like a reminder that everything here sits on top of something volatile. The beauty masks the rot: Passione's influence is invisible but total.
