Tooru is a Rock Human — a silicon-based lifeform that has coexisted with humanity for millennia, aging imperceptibly slowly. He dated Yasuho before Gappy's appearance and his interest in her is genuine, which makes him more unsettling rather than less. Wonder of U is arguably the most powerful Stand in all of JoJo: anyone who pursues Tooru or Wonder of U with hostile intent is struck by calamity — increasingly severe 'natural' disasters that escalate from tripping to being crushed by falling objects to fatal accidents. It doesn't attack; it ensures that attacking it destroys you through cascade failure. The only thing that can touch him is something that doesn't exist — Gappy's Go Beyond.

Young-looking man with messy dark hair and a casual, unassuming appearance. Wears modern clothing, often a hoodie. Disarming smile. Looks like a normal college student — deliberately, because Rock Humans survive by blending in. Wonder of U manifests as an elderly hospital director figure in a suit, moving with ominous deliberation.
