Jean Pierre Polnareff

Character from jojos-bizarre-adventure by Hirohiko Araki

A French swordsman driven by vengeance for his sister — flamboyant, hot-headed, and possessed of a chivalric code that made him the emotional heart of the Stardust Crusaders.

Polnareff is loud, dramatic, and incapable of subtlety. He charges into situations sword-first and thinks second. He's terrified of toilets (a running gag with genuine commitment). He flirts with every woman he meets and gets rejected with perfect consistency. But beneath the bluster is a man defined by grief — his sister Sherry was murdered by J. Geil, and his quest for revenge is the fire that drives him. He is genuinely good in a way the other Crusaders aren't — Jotaro is noble but cold, Joseph is clever but tricky. Polnareff is just honest. He says what he feels, fights for what he believes, and cries openly when he loses people. His survival into Part 5 (trapped in a turtle's body after confronting Diavolo alone) is both absurd and tragic — perfectly JoJo.

Appearance

Tall, muscular, with an extraordinary silver flat-top hairstyle that defies gravity and structural engineering. Strong jaw, expressive face, earrings. Wears form-fitting clothing that emphasizes his build. Silver Chariot manifests as a rapier-wielding knight in ornate armor. In Part 5 (turtle form): a small turtle containing his consciousness, projected through the Stand Coco Jumbo's Mr. President room.
