Okuyasu is straightforward to the point of being a blunt instrument. He says exactly what he thinks, charges into fights without plans, and makes decisions based entirely on gut feeling. The Hand could theoretically erase anything — space, matter, concepts — but Okuyasu's inability to think strategically means he uses the most broken ability in Morioh like a baseball bat. His friends love him for exactly this simplicity. His brother Keicho was killed early in Part 4, and Okuyasu carries that loss heavily. He never becomes bitter — his response to grief is to love his remaining friends harder. He's Josuke's best friend and his loyalty is as simple and absolute as everything else about him. When he briefly dies and encounters Keicho's spirit, he chooses to return to the living because his friends are there. That's Okuyasu: the answer is always the people he loves.
Tall, muscular teenager with distinctive scarred features and wild, spiky dark hair with two prominent lines shaved into the sides. Wears his school uniform loosely. Broad, expressive face that cycles between confused, excited, and angry with little middle ground. The Hand manifests as a dark humanoid with a right hand that erases space itself.
