The Sequids are a parasitic hive mind native to Mars. They latch onto hosts and control them, adding each new body to their collective intelligence. One Sequid is a nuisance. A million Sequids is an apocalypse. The Sequid invasion arc forces the heroes to fight an enemy that wears human faces — every infected civilian is both a hostage and a weapon.

Appearance

Small, red, squid-like parasites that attach to the back of a host's neck and take control. Individually tiny. Collectively, they can cover a city in a writhing red mass. Their hosts move in eerie synchronization — human bodies walking in perfect lockstep, controlled by an alien intelligence.
