Even damaged, it sustains Iriolarthas's undead existence and maintains Ythryn's magical defenses after millennia. If repaired, it could make its controller the most powerful magic-user in the North. If further damaged, the resulting magical explosion could devastate the region.
An enormous crystal sphere, fifty feet in diameter, hovering in the heart of Ythryn. Its surface crawls with constantly shifting arcane formulae in golden light. Cracks spiderweb across its surface, leaking raw magical energy.
