Vierna is the true believer the rest of House Do'Urden only pretends to be. She speaks of Lolth with genuine religious ecstasy, her eyes brightening at the prospect of pleasing the Spider Queen. She hunts Drizzt not out of personal hatred but out of fanatical devotion — his capture would restore Lolth's favor to their house. She is competent, ruthless, and utterly predictable to anyone who understands that she will always choose the path Lolth demands. Her one blind spot is her faith; she cannot conceive that Lolth might abandon her even in the moment of sacrifice.
Lean drow woman with sharp, intense features and the focused eyes of a zealot. White hair worn in the severe style of Lolth's priestesses. Wears spider-motif holy vestments and carries a snake-headed whip. Her movements are taut with barely contained religious fervor.
