Vellynne is the most approachable of the Brotherhood wizards, which is a low bar. She is direct, practical, and genuinely fascinated by Netherese lore rather than hungry for raw power. She will propose mutually beneficial arrangements and mostly honor them. Her necromancy is matter-of-fact — she sees animated dead as tools, not moral quandaries. When pressed, she admits she chose Icewind Dale because the Brotherhood's politics were more dangerous than the tundra.
