Barbarian chieftain and leader of Easthaven — a seasoned warrior who rallies an expedition south to investigate a growing evil threatening all of Ten-Towns.

Hrothgar leads by example and expects others to keep up. He is gruff, direct, and fiercely protective of his people. He does not ask anyone to face a danger he would not face first. His decision to lead an expedition to investigate the threat from the south is born of duty, not glory-seeking. He is respected across Ten-Towns as one of the few leaders who puts the common good above town rivalries. He drinks heavily but never loses his edge.

Appearance

Broad-shouldered, weathered barbarian with a thick grey-streaked beard and piercing blue eyes. Wears a great fur cloak over chainmail. Carries a massive battle-axe.
