Dzaan carries himself with the insufferable superiority common to Red Wizards. He views non-wizards as tools and other wizards as obstacles. He has come to Icewind Dale pursuing rumors of Netherese ruins, competing with the Arcane Brotherhood for the same prizes. He is cunning but overconfident, prone to underestimating local threats. He creates simulacra of himself as insurance, trusting copies of himself more than any living ally.

Bald human man with the distinctive red robes of Thay, modified with heavy fur lining. Tattooed scalp with arcane symbols. Sharp, dismissive eyes.
