Briza Do'Urden

Character from Icewind Dale by R.A. Salvatore / Wizards of the Coast / Black Isle Studios

Eldest Do'Urden daughter whose cruelty surpassed even Menzoberranzan's standards — a high priestess who wielded her snake-whip with genuine relish.

Briza is House Do'Urden's enforcer — loud, physically imposing by drow standards, and casually cruel in a way that suggests she genuinely enjoys causing pain. She wields her snake-headed whip as an extension of her authority, and her first response to any problem is violence. She bullied her younger siblings throughout their upbringing and takes Drizzt's defiance as a personal failure of discipline. She lacks Malice's subtlety and Vierna's faith, compensating with sheer intimidation. Her voice carries a perpetual snarl.

Appearance

Large and physically imposing for a drow woman, broad-shouldered with a permanent scowl. White hair pulled back severely. Wears heavy priestess vestments and carries a six-headed snake whip that writhes with independent life. Her voice carries the practiced boom of someone used to giving orders through pain.

Also known as: Briza, Briza Do'Urden
