A vast subterranean ecosystem hidden beneath the ice — a lost world of jungle, lava, and living dinosaurs that time forgot.
Dinosaur World exists in a cavern system beneath the ice that is massive enough to have its own weather and ecology. Dinosaurs that went extinct on the surface found refuge here and continued evolving in isolation. The result is an ecosystem of maximum predator density, where everything is bigger, faster, or more dangerous than its surface equivalent. As a setting, Dinosaur World is the ultimate contrast to the ice age world — warm instead of cold, lush instead of barren, ancient instead of merely old. It is where Buck has made his home and his identity. Entering it means leaving behind all assumptions about the natural order.
Dinosaur World is lit by bioluminescence and geothermal glow — amber and green light filtering through thick jungle canopy that grows despite having no sun. The air is warm, wet, and heavy with the smell of vegetation and something older. Giant ferns and cycads crowd the ground. The sound is constant: insects, distant roars, water running over volcanic stone. It is nothing like the world above.
