Character from ice-age by
Crash's possum twin and co-conspirator, slightly more cautious than his brother in the sense that he hesitates for one half-second before following him into disaster.
Eddie and Crash function as a single comedic organism. Eddie is the follow-up to Crash's opening move — the echo, the amplifier, the person who says 'yeah!' when Crash says 'let's do it.' He has slightly more self-awareness than his brother, which mostly means he knows they're going to regret this and goes along anyway. As a storytelling presence, Eddie is the gentler of the two, slightly more susceptible to genuine feeling, slightly more likely to have a moment of actual sincerity buried under the slapstick. He loves Ellie without question and transfers that loyalty to the group she adopts.
Eddie is nearly identical to Crash: grey-black possum fur, naked tail, orange-glowing eyes in darkness, and the universal possum expression of delighted alarm. He stands slightly behind Crash in most situations, which is the closest he gets to caution.
