Neo-Green Life — a technophobic nation that banned all technology, creating the perfect blind spot for a Chimera Ant invasion that no one could detect until it was too late.
NGL's anti-technology policy created the conditions for the Chimera Ant crisis. The Queen's nest grew undetected because there were no surveillance systems, no communications infrastructure, and no way for the population to call for help. By the time the outside world noticed, the ants had consumed entire villages and were producing intelligent, Nen-capable offspring. NGL is the series' commentary on isolationism — a nation that cut itself off from the modern world and was consumed by a threat that modern detection systems would have caught immediately.
Dense forests and rural settlements with no technology — no phones, no electricity, no modern infrastructure. The landscape is lush and untouched by industrialization. The Chimera Ant nest is hidden deep in the forest, growing from the queen's original landing site.
