The Queen's hive in NGL — a massive underground structure where humans were consumed, ants were born, and a species began its evolution toward something the world wasn't prepared for.
The nest is where the Chimera Ant crisis began — the Queen's base of operations during the reproductive phase. Humans were brought here, consumed, and their genetic material incorporated into the next generation of ants. The nest represents the series' body horror at its most visceral: a factory for turning people into weapons.
A massive mound of earth and organic material in the NGL forest, with tunnels extending deep underground. The interior is a network of chambers: nursery rooms, feeding halls, the Queen's chamber, and soldier barracks. It smells of death and new growth simultaneously.
