Item from Hunter x Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi
A Nen-powered video game created by Ging and his allies — a physical island transformed into a card-based game world where players can die for real.
Greed Island is Ging's greatest creation — a fusion of Nen and game design that transforms a real island into a playable world. Players collect cards (which are real items materialized as cards through Nen), complete quests (which are real and lethal), and compete against other players and Game Masters. Completing the game requires collecting all 100 specified cards. The game is both an adventure and a training tool — Ging designed it partly to challenge Gon and partly because he wanted to see if it was possible. Only about 10 copies exist, and each is worth billions.
The game itself is a Joystation cartridge that, when activated with Nen, physically transports the player to Greed Island. The cartridge is unremarkable; the technology behind it is extraordinary — Ging and a team of elite Nen users created an entire reality powered by Nen.
