The Troupe's tech specialist — a cheerful, analytical young man who controls people with cell phone antennae and was killed by Hisoka's post-resurrection rampage.
Shalnark was the Phantom Troupe's information specialist and one of its most versatile members. His Manipulation Hatsu (Black Voice) uses cell phone antennae to control targets — or himself, in autopilot mode, which enhances his physical abilities at the cost of memory loss. He was a licensed Hunter, which gave the Troupe access to the Hunter database. Hisoka killed him after his own resurrection, using Shalnark's moment of vulnerability (he'd used autopilot and was defenseless).
Average build with short blond hair and a friendly, boyish face. He looks normal — pleasant, approachable — which makes his willingness to participate in mass robbery and murder more unsettling. He always carries his phone.
