Palm was a Nen-using Hunter under Knov's mentorship who volunteered to infiltrate the Chimera Ant nest and was captured. The ants transformed her into a human-ant hybrid, but unlike most victims, she retained her human consciousness through sheer willpower and Killua's intervention. Her Enhancement Hatsu — Black Widow — covers her body in a protective membrane, and her clairvoyant ability (Wink Blue) lets her monitor anyone she's seen through a crystal ball.
Before transformation: long dark hair, intense eyes, and an erratic, disheveled appearance. After Chimera Ant absorption: smoother features with a composed bearing and the ability to cover her body in a black membrane. Her crystal ball (Wink Blue) is now embedded in her forehead.
