A Music Hunter cursed by a dark sonata — disfigured by a forbidden song, gifted with superhuman hearing, and using her flute to heal what the music destroyed.

Melody is Kurapika's colleague in the Nostrade Family and one of his few genuine friends. Her hearing is supernaturally enhanced — she can detect lies through heartbeat changes, assess emotional states, and hear conversations at extreme distances. Her flute playing has a healing, calming effect on listeners. She heard one movement of the Sonata of Darkness, a composition so cursed that hearing it disfigured her and killed her friend. She searches for the full sonata to destroy it.

Appearance

Short with a round, somewhat homely face and large eyes. Her appearance was altered by hearing the Sonata of Darkness — she was once beautiful. She carries a flute and speaks softly.
