A tough-looking delinquent with a heart of gold — his Nen ability tracks aura debt like a loan shark, but he can't stop feeding stray animals and crying over sad stories.
Knuckle is Morel's student and one of the Chimera Ant Extermination Team. His Emission Hatsu — Hakoware (Chapter 7 Bankruptcy) — lends aura to his opponent through a cute mascot (Potclean/APR) that tracks the debt. When the opponent's aura debt exceeds their total aura, they're forced into Zetsu (powerless) for 30 days. It's the most complex and one of the most powerful Hatsu in the series. He is loud, emotional, and genuinely kind — he cried about having to fight Gon, feeds stray dogs compulsively, and charges into danger to protect people he barely knows. He's the series' proof that being tough and being tender aren't contradictions.
Tall and muscular with a classic delinquent pompadour hairstyle. He looks like a street fighter and carries himself with aggressive confidence. His tough-guy appearance is undermined by his habit of tearing up at emotional moments.
