Location from House of the Dragon by George R.R. Martin
The great lighthouse of Oldtown, tallest structure in Westeros. Seat of House Hightower on Battle Isle at the mouth of the Honeywine river.
The Hightower is a massive stepped lighthouse rising from Battle Isle at the center of Oldtown's harbor, its beacon visible for miles out to sea. The tower is built in tiers — the lower levels are ancient black stone of unknown origin, with newer construction rising above in pale stone and timber. House Hightower has ruled from this tower for thousands of years, making them one of the oldest and most powerful families in the Reach. The Hightower's light has guided ships into Oldtown's harbor since before the Andals came to Westeros. During the Dance, the tower serves as the seat of Lord Ormund Hightower, who leads the Green cause in the Reach while his kinsmen Otto and Alicent shape events in King's Landing.
The tallest structure in Westeros — a stepped stone lighthouse rising from Battle Isle at the mouth of the Honeywine. A beacon of flame burns at its peak. The Hightower family's seat and symbol of Oldtown's power.
