Character from House of the Dragon by George R.R. Martin
The young Lord of Riverrun — barely more than a boy when the Dance began, yet brave enough to declare the Riverlands for the Blacks despite the chaos consuming his lands.
Oscar Tully inherited the lordship of Riverrun and the burden of choosing sides in a civil war at an age when most boys are still training at quintains. He chose the Blacks — whether from conviction, counsel, or simply because Rhaenyra's cause seemed just — and held the Riverlands for her despite the region becoming the Dance's most devastated battlefield. He is brave in the way that young men who do not yet understand death can be brave, but there is genuine steel beneath the youth. His inexperience sometimes shows, but his instincts are sound and his loyalty unwavering. By the war's end, the boy who declared for Rhaenyra has aged beyond his years.
A youth with the auburn hair and blue eyes characteristic of House Tully. Slight build, not yet grown into his frame. Wears the red and blue of Riverrun with a young lord's self-conscious dignity. An earnest face that has not yet learned to hide what it feels.
