• He was a blacksmith on Dragonstone before claiming Vermithor — one of the dragonseeds recruited by Jacaerys to bolster Black air power
• He claimed Vermithor, the Old King's dragon, one of the largest and most powerful dragons alive — second only to Vhagar
• He betrayed the Blacks at the First Battle of Tumbleton, turning Vermithor on the town and burning it
• He attempted to crown himself king after the betrayal but was killed by Ser Jon Roxton before the claim could gain traction
