The imaging suite is where House's hunches become evidence. When the differential narrows to possibilities that can only be confirmed by imaging, the patient goes to the basement. House has been known to order unauthorized MRIs, bribe technicians for off-hours access, and physically operate the machines himself when the radiologist is too slow. The imaging suite is where the invisible becomes visible — tumors, lesions, blood clots, the physical proof that something is wrong inside a body that looked fine from the outside.
