Cuddy's office is where hospital policy meets House's contempt for it. He limps in without an appointment to argue about cases, demand resources, avoid clinic duty, or flirt in a way that's technically workplace harassment and functionally how they communicate. The office has witnessed more negotiations between Cuddy and House than most diplomatic embassies see in a decade. Every conversation follows the same pattern: House wants something unreasonable, Cuddy says no, House argues, Cuddy bargains, and they arrive at a compromise that neither is happy with but both can live with.
A large, well-appointed office on the first floor of PPTH near the main lobby. Professional furniture, windows overlooking the hospital entrance, the organized workspace of someone who manages a multi-department teaching hospital while managing House. After Cuddy's departure, Foreman inherits the office and the headaches.
