Tritter pulled House over on his motorcycle, found his Vicodin stash, and launched a months-long campaign to destroy him. He froze Wilson's bank accounts. Impounded his car. Pressured every member of House's team to testify against him. He wasn't wrong about the addiction — House was an addict, and everyone around him was enabling it. But Tritter's crusade stopped being about justice somewhere around the time he started enjoying it. He's been compared to Inspector Javert — righteous, relentless, and ultimately unable to accept that the world is more complicated than his binary of guilty and innocent. The judge gave House one night in jail and ordered him to finish rehab. Tritter lost, and the loss ate at him because he knew he was right about the addiction even if the system disagreed.
