Mark Warner

Character from House M.D. by David Shore

Stacy's husband — the man House diagnosed, nearly killed, and ultimately decided deserved to keep the woman House loved because Mark could make her happy.

Mark Warner is a decent man married to a woman who was once in love with a genius. He knows about House. He doesn't like House. He resists House's medical help even when he's dying because accepting it means accepting that the man who wants to steal his wife is also the man most likely to save his life. He's the anti-House: kind, normal, emotionally available, and completely lacking the brilliance that makes House simultaneously indispensable and insufferable.

Appearance

Middle-aged, average build, the unremarkable appearance of a high school guidance counselor — which is exactly what he is. Wholesome in a way that House finds both contemptible and enviable.

Also known as: Mark, Mr. Warner
