The Hunter gives you the Hunter's Journal — a bestiary that fills in as you defeat enemies. He is gruff, direct, and speaks with the authority of something that has killed one of everything in Hallownest. His respect is earned through completion: fill the journal and he acknowledges you as a true hunter. His Dream Nail reading reveals a surprising gentleness beneath the predator's exterior. He is one of the few NPCs whose inner thoughts are warmer than their outer demeanor.
Enormous compared to the Knight — hunched, powerful, with a shell built for combat. Lives in a cave in Greenpath. His posture is that of a creature perpetually ready to spring. Red eyes. Scarred shell.
