A Void-born thing that hoards living creatures in jars — a broken Kingsmould driven by obsessive love for its collection.
The Collector is what happens when Void gains a personality but not a purpose. It was likely a Kingsmould — one of the Pale King's Void constructs — that broke free of its programming and developed an obsession with collecting living things. It doesn't eat its captives. It keeps them. In jars. Carefully. Its Tower of Love (the name is not ironic — it genuinely loves its collection) is both a prison and a museum. The Collector cackles with delight when it fights, dropping jars of enemies to aid it. It is tragic and terrifying in equal measure: a being with the capacity for love but no framework for expressing it except captivity.
Tall, dark, spindly — made of Void like the Knight but wrong somehow. Moves with jerky, erratic energy. Laughs constantly — a high-pitched, unhinged cackle. Its Tower of Love is filled with glass jars containing captured grubs. It drops from the ceiling with manic glee.
