Jack Gerling is a member of the Network — one of Earth's three major magical factions. His significance lies not in his power but in his actions: he killed Kaito Asano (Jason's brother), Greg, and Asya Karadeniz (Jason's partner), making him directly responsible for some of the deepest trauma in Jason's life. Farrah fought him after the killings. Jack represents the human-scale villainy that sometimes hits harder than cosmic threats — not a Great Astral Being or a god, just a man who made choices that destroyed lives.
