Vox's Hypnotic Screen

Item from Hazbin Hotel by Vivienne Medrano (VivziePop)

Vox's TV-head isn't just a head — it's a weapon that can hypnotize anyone who watches it, making every screen in Hell a potential trap.

Vox's signature ability is screen-based hypnosis. He can project his influence through any television, phone, or monitor in Hell — and in the modern age, those are everywhere. This makes him arguably the most dangerous Overlord in terms of raw reach. His power is surveillance and mind control dressed up as media. Alastor, who despises screens, is one of the few beings immune to this — which is another reason their rivalry is so personal. Vox's greatest weapon doesn't work on his greatest enemy.

Appearance

Vox's flatscreen face itself serves as the primary hypnotic device, but his power extends to any screen connected to VoxTek's network. When active, hypnotic spirals or pulsing patterns appear, and the viewer's eyes glaze with a blue-red glow matching Vox's signature colors. The effect is immediate and invasive.
