Item from Hazbin Hotel by Vivienne Medrano (VivziePop)
The King of Hell's coping mechanism — an obsessive collection of handcrafted rubber ducks that represent his desperate need to create something pure in a realm defined by destruction.
The rubber ducks are comedy and tragedy in a single prop. Lucifer — the Morningstar, the fallen angel who gave humanity free will, the King of Hell — spends his time alone in his palace making rubber ducks. It's funny until you realize why: he's a creator by nature, an angel whose purpose was to make beautiful things. Hell gave him nothing beautiful to make, so he makes ducks. The ducks are also a point of connection with Charlie, who finds them endearing. They're the bridge between a father who doesn't know how to father and a daughter who will accept any version of him she can get.
Handcrafted rubber ducks in endless varieties — different outfits, accessories, themes, expressions. Each one is meticulously detailed. They fill rooms, shelves, and surfaces wherever Lucifer spends time. Some are simple. Some are elaborate enough to be art pieces. All of them are made by hand, by the literal Devil, who could be doing literally anything else.
