Valentino

Character from Hazbin Hotel by Vivienne Medrano (VivziePop)

An Overlord who runs Hell's porn empire through charm, control, and systematic abuse — the chain around Angel Dust's neck.

Valentino is an abuser who has weaponized the aesthetics of affection. He calls Angel Dust pet names while hurting him. He alternates tenderness and cruelty so fast that his victims can't stabilize. He's not mindlessly cruel — he's strategic about it, maintaining control through a cycle of punishment and reward that keeps his workers dependent and confused. In the Vees, he's the revenue engine — the porn studios and nightclubs generate the cash that funds Vox's tech empire. He's volatile where Vox is calculating, throwing tantrums that destroy property and people. But he's not stupid. He knows exactly how much he can push before Vox intervenes, and he knows Angel Dust's soul contract is his most valuable asset. He treats people like content. Everything is a performance, a product, or a problem to be managed. The only people he doesn't treat disposably are Vox and Velvette, and even that's transactional.

Appearance

A towering moth demon — one of the tallest characters in the cast. Four arms, dark reddish-purple fur, and compound eyes behind heart-shaped red sunglasses. He wears a long red fur-trimmed coat over a revealing outfit. Gold jewelry drips from every surface. His moth wings are usually folded but spread when threatening. Smoke curls from a cigarette holder that never seems to go out. His physicality is deliberately invasive — he looms, he touches, he fills space to make others feel smaller.
