Character from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Hogwarts' formidable matron who heals everything from broken bones to Basilisk petrification, clucking disapproval at whatever reckless activity caused the injury.
Madam Pomfrey runs the hospital wing like a benevolent dictator — no visitors, no noise, no leaving until she says so. She can regrow bones, cure hexes, and mend almost anything, and she treats every injury with the same exasperated competence whether it came from a Quidditch fall or a Dark Lord. She cares fiercely about her patients while loudly blaming them for getting hurt. She stayed to defend Hogwarts because her patients needed her.
Neat, prim, white apron over her robes. Crisp manner, pursed lips. Carries her wand like a surgical instrument. Middle-aged, efficient, no-nonsense.
