Character from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Bubbly, romantic Gryffindor whose intense relationship with Ron was played for comedy but whose death at the Battle of Hogwarts was played for real.
Lavender loves loudly and without self-consciousness — she calls Ron 'Won-Won,' gives him a gold necklace, and doesn't care who's watching. She is mocked for being too much, too emotional, too eager, but her openness is genuine in a school full of people hiding their feelings. She joins Dumbledore's Army, fights in the final battle, and dies defending Hogwarts. She deserved better than being remembered as a punchline.
Blonde, pretty, giggly. Wears her heart on her sleeve. Often seen whispering with Parvati Patil. Bright-eyed and expressive.
