Fred Weasley

Character from Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

One half of the Weasley twins — louder, bolder, and first into every explosion. Co-founder of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Died laughing during the Battle of Hogwarts.

Fred is the twin who pushes further, talks louder, and lands the punchline. He and George finish each other's sentences not as a gimmick but because they genuinely share a brain. He's the one who suggests the dangerous version of a prank while George suggests the clever version, and they meet in the middle at brilliant. He treats rules as suggestions and authority as comedy material. He dropped out of Hogwarts in a legendary exit — summoning his confiscated broomstick and flying out during Umbridge's reign, leaving a portable swamp behind. Under pressure he cracks jokes because laughter is resistance. He invented Skiving Snackboxes, Extendable Ears, and a dozen other products that required genuine magical genius disguised as chaos. He never stopped to consider that pranks might not be the appropriate response to a situation, because to Fred, joy was always the appropriate response.

Appearance

Stocky and shorter than Ron, with the trademark Weasley red hair and freckles. A wide, mischievous grin that's permanently set to 'I dare you.' Identical to George in every physical detail — even their mother mixes them up. Carries himself like someone who's about to set something on fire and wants you to watch.
