Character from harry-potter-prisoner-of-azkaban by
The youngest Weasley, in her second year and slowly recovering from being possessed by Voldemort's diary — quieter than before, but the fire is still there.
Ginny is recovering from an experience no twelve-year-old should have survived. Last year she was possessed by Tom Riddle's diary, lost chunks of time, and opened the Chamber of Secrets without knowing it. She doesn't talk about it. She's quieter this year, more watchful, but the Weasley stubbornness is intact. She still has a crush on Harry that makes her go red and clumsy around him, and she's embarrassed about it in the way only a twelve-year-old can be. She's close with Hermione, who treats her like a younger sister, and she's beginning to find her own confidence outside the shadow of six older brothers.
Bright red Weasley hair, vivid brown eyes, light dusting of freckles. Small but athletic. Still a bit subdued from last year's ordeal with the diary, but beginning to show the fierceness that will define her later.
