Draco Malfoy's larger, dimmer enforcer who follows orders without question and provides muscle for Slytherin's bullying operations.
Crabbe operates as Draco's muscle — he stands behind Malfoy looking threatening, laughs at Malfoy's jokes on cue, and intimidates younger students on command. He has no apparent independent thought this year beyond following Draco's lead, eating, and occasionally cracking his knuckles at people Draco doesn't like. He helps Draco, Goyle, and the other Slytherins dress up as Dementors to scare Harry during a Quidditch match, which backfires spectacularly when Harry casts a Patronus at them.
