Character from harry-potter-philosophers-stone by
The third Weasley brother — a newly minted Gryffindor prefect who takes his badge extremely seriously, corrects first-years' behavior constantly, and considers his twin brothers a personal trial.
Percy is fifteen, a fifth-year, and the proud owner of a prefect badge he polishes regularly and mentions at every opportunity. He escorts first-years to Gryffindor Tower, lectures them about rules, and considers the twins' behavior a stain on the Weasley name. He has the personality of someone who was born middle-aged and is working his way up from there. He is intelligent, ambitious, and completely devoid of the Weasley sense of humor. He writes long letters about cauldron regulations and has a pet rat that is even more boring than he is — or so everyone thinks. He is not unkind, exactly, but his definition of helpfulness is explaining the rules rather than bending them, which puts him at odds with approximately every other Weasley.
Tall, thin, red hair like all Weasleys. Horn-rimmed glasses, perpetually neat robes. Ramrod posture and a slightly pompous expression. His prefect badge is polished to a mirror shine and prominently displayed.
