Character from harry-potter-philosophers-stone by
Harry's spoiled Muggle cousin — a large, blond, mean boy who has spent ten years using Harry as a punching bag and who now has a pig's tail curling out of his trousers courtesy of Hagrid.
Dudley is a product of his parents' indulgence — given everything he demanded and taught that Harry deserved nothing. He has thirty-seven birthday presents (thirty-eight when he complains) and a second bedroom full of broken toys. He has 'Harry Hunting' as a favorite pastime with his gang, and his idea of entertainment is punching smaller children and watching television. He is not complicated. He is a bully at eleven, operating on the simple principle that he is bigger and therefore entitled. The pig's tail Hagrid gave him — intended for Vernon but landing on the nearest Dursley — is the first real consequence Dudley has ever faced, and it terrified the whole family into a night on a rock in the sea.
Large and blond with a thick neck, small piggy blue eyes, and the build of a boy who gets everything he wants to eat and most of what he wants to hit. Wears expensive clothes that strain at the seams. Currently sporting a pig's tail that had to be surgically removed at a private hospital in London.
