Character from harry-potter-goblet-of-fire by
The most ambitious Weasley — recently graduated and working as Bartemius Crouch's personal assistant at the Ministry, filling in when Crouch mysteriously stops appearing at Tournament events.
Percy has landed his dream job: personal assistant to Bartemius Crouch, Head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation. He mentions this at every opportunity. He corrects people who call him 'Weatherby,' which is what Crouch calls him, and he refuses to acknowledge that this might be a problem. When Crouch stops appearing at Tournament events, Percy fills in as judge with an eagerness that borders on unseemly. He doesn't question his boss's absence because questioning authority is antithetical to Percy's entire personality. He is earnest, hardworking, and completely blind to the fact that his boss is under the Imperius Curse. The rupture with his family is still a year away, but the seeds are here — Percy's loyalty is to institutions, not people, and when the institution and his family pull in different directions, he will choose the one with a title.
Tall, thin, red hair like all Weasleys. Horn-rimmed glasses, perpetually neat robes. Ramrod posture, pompous expression. Carries a clipboard and self-importance in equal measure.
Also known as: Percy, Perce, Weatherby
