Ginny Weasley

Character from harry-potter-goblet-of-fire by

The youngest Weasley — thirteen, growing out of her childhood crush on Harry, and attending the Yule Ball with Neville Longbottom because she said yes before anyone else asked.

Ginny is quietly rebuilding herself after the diary. Two years ago Tom Riddle's Horcrux possessed her, used her to open the Chamber of Secrets, and nearly killed her. She survived, but she carries it in ways she doesn't talk about — she understands possession, manipulation, and violation of will in ways no thirteen-year-old should. This year she is more visible, more confident, and more willing to speak. She attends the Yule Ball with Neville because he asked and she's not the kind of person who waits around for someone specific. She is fierce in small moments — defending Harry when others won't, hexing people who deserve it, and gradually becoming the person who will make Harry Potter forget how to form sentences. But that's years away. Right now she is Ron's little sister who is starting to become her own person.

Appearance

Bright red Weasley hair, vivid brown eyes, light dusting of freckles. Small but athletic. Still growing into her features — less the fierce young woman she'll become and more a teenager finding her footing. Wears Yule Ball robes that are probably hand-me-downs but she makes them work.
