One half of the Weasley twins — currently developing Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes products, attempting to enter the Triwizard Tournament despite being underage, and testing experimental sweets on first-years.
Fred and George try to cross Dumbledore's Age Line with an Aging Potion. It doesn't work — the potion sprouts them matching long white beards, and they spend the next several hours in the hospital wing looking like tiny Dumbledores. The failure doesn't diminish their reputation; if anything, it enhances it, because they tried. They are sixteen and already building the foundation of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. Their invention list is growing: Ton-Tongue Toffees (tested on Dudley Dursley with spectacular results), Canary Creams, Nosebleed Nougats, Fainting Fancies. They are also running an illegal betting operation and pressuring Ludo Bagman about the gold he owes them from the World Cup. Harry's Triwizard winnings — a thousand Galleons — will eventually fund their shop, though they don't know it yet.
Stocky and shorter than Ron, with the trademark Weasley red hair and freckles. A wide, mischievous grin. Identical to George in every physical detail — even their mother mixes them up. This year, both twins have grown impressive sideburns that they claim make them look seventeen.
