The Burrow

Location from harry-potter-deathly-hallows by

The Weasley family home -- site of Bill and Fleur's interrupted wedding, the family clock with every hand on 'mortal peril,' and the last normal place Harry will see for a very long time.

The Burrow hosts Bill and Fleur's wedding -- a brief moment of joy in the middle of war. The guests dance, the champagne flows, and for a few hours the war feels distant. Then Kingsley's lynx Patronus bursts through the canopy: 'The Ministry has fallen. Scrimgeour is dead. They are coming.' Death Eaters arrive seconds later. The trio Disapparates. The Burrow remains the Weasley home throughout the war, watched by the regime but not attacked outright because the Weasleys are pure-blood. The family clock tells Molly everything she needs to know and nothing she wants to hear.

Appearance

Tall, narrow, magically-expanded house leaning at impossible angles. Garden full of gnomes. Chickens in the yard. The family clock with nine hands, all pointing to 'mortal peril.' Wedding marquee in the garden, torn apart by Death Eaters.
