The wizarding shopping street that became a war zone -- shops boarded up, Gringotts still standing, and the trio riding a dragon through its marble ceiling.
Diagon Alley under Voldemort's regime is a shadow of itself. The Weasleys' joke shop is the only bright spot -- defiantly colorful, defiantly open. Gringotts still operates because the goblins serve no master and gold recognizes no ideology. It is through the marble floor of Gringotts that Harry, Ron, and Hermione escape on a half-blind dragon after stealing Hufflepuff's Cup from the Lestrange vault -- bursting through the bank's ceiling and flying over London, trailing broken marble and goblin screams.
Once vibrant cobblestoned shopping street, now subdued. Ministry posters on walls. Shops boarded up or selling dark artifacts openly. Gringotts' white marble still gleams at the far end, its goblin guards impassive.
