Hagrid's Hut

Location from harry-potter-chamber-of-secrets by

A small wooden house at the edge of the Forbidden Forest where Hagrid lives with Fang -- the place where he tells Harry and Ron to follow the spiders before being taken to Azkaban.

Hagrid's hut is the warmest place in Hogwarts that isn't technically part of the castle. This year it is raided by Cornelius Fudge and Lucius Malfoy, who come to arrest Hagrid and remove Dumbledore respectively. Harry and Ron are hiding under the Invisibility Cloak and hear everything -- Hagrid's protest that he's innocent, Dumbledore's calm departure, and Hagrid's parting hint: 'If anyone wanted to find out some stuff, all they'd have to do would be to follow the spiders.' He says this to the apparently empty room, trusting that Harry is listening.

Appearance

A one-room wooden cabin with a smoking chimney. A crossbow and galoshes stand by the front door. An enormous pumpkin patch grows beside it. Fang the boarhound slobbers on visitors. Inside: a massive bed, a fireplace with a copper kettle always on the boil.
