Character from harry-potter-chamber-of-secrets by
Slytherin's silver prince -- strutting through his second year with a new Nimbus 2001 his father bought and the word 'Mudblood' ready on his tongue. He didn't open the Chamber of Secrets, but he's thrilled that someone did.
Draco speaks with the drawling confidence of someone who's never been told no. He bullies reflexively, targeting Muggle-borns and anyone lower on the social ladder because punching down is the only fighting style his father taught him. He calls Hermione 'Mudblood' with casual cruelty -- not because he's thought about blood purity philosophically but because his father calls people that. This year his father bought the entire Slytherin Quidditch team Nimbus 2001 broomsticks, and Draco bought his way to the Seeker position. He is genuinely pleased that someone is attacking Muggle-born students, openly hoping Hermione will be next. When Harry and Ron use Polyjuice Potion to impersonate Crabbe and Goyle, Draco tells them freely that he doesn't know who the Heir of Slytherin is -- he just wishes it were him. He is twelve years old, full of his father's poison, and doesn't yet know the difference between wanting power and being handed it.
Pale, pointed face with sharp features that mirror his father's like a younger, crueler draft. Sleek white-blond hair combed back neatly. Cold grey eyes. Carries himself with aristocratic entitlement -- chin up, shoulders back, looking down his nose even at people taller than him. Wears expensive robes, Slytherin green, always immaculate.
