A pale lavender deer who never speaks, communicates entirely in mime, and whose invisible props have a disconcerting tendency to behave as if they are real.
Mime never speaks. Not once. He communicates entirely through expressive physical performance, which the other residents understand with varying degrees of success. What makes Mime genuinely uncanny is that his invisible props appear to interact with the physical world in ways that cannot be explained — invisible bicycles fall over and trip people, invisible boxes contain things, invisible fire burns. He is gentle, expressive, and genuinely trying to connect with people across the barrier of his chosen silence. His expressiveness makes him surprisingly readable despite the lack of words, and his performances occasionally carry a melancholy that the brighter residents don't notice. He also juggles, and the invisible balls land with audible thuds.
